Geri Liberatore
BScPod
Ms. Liberatore started her career in manicures with her sister-in-law as an Acrylic Nail Technician while also working in the banking industry. After 4 years of doing both, she put her career as a Nail Technician on hold and continued her banking career with Canada Trust. During this time and while taking time off to have having two daughters, she established and operated a successful holistic health counseling practice for 10 years.
In 2001 she took an opportunity to return to the beauty industry; however; after her holistic health background, she decided to switch to Gel nail enhancements and add pedicures to her service menu. She gave her first pedicure and realized she needed to upgrade her education since she felt that the feet she saw needed more expert care.
She found NASP in April 2004, and a passion to help feet was born. She continued upgrading her foot care education through NASP, obtaining her BSc in Podology in January 2006, after which she joined the team of NASP educators.
Ms. Liberatore owns and operates a nail and esthetics studio and continues to share her passion of foot care with clients. She believes whole-heartedly that anyone who provides pedicures must be a graduate of NASP’s Advanced Foot Care course. She believes the knowledge learned saves lives and the practice gained is a priceless asset to anyone in the cosmetology industry. She is committed to sharing her passion for advanced quality education of foot care with others in the beauty industry.
