Suzanne Foote
DNM, RN, CFCN, BScPod
Ms. Foote spent 30 years in the medical field. She was a recognized leader in Nursing Education and has been active in the field of Complimentary Medicine, receiving a Doctor of Acupuncture, Doctor of Natural Medicine and a Diploma in Homeopathy. She is a founding member of the Alternative Health Care Services clinic in Downtown Toronto in 1993, where she had a part-time practice in Acupuncture, Homeopathy and other complementary modalities.
In 1998, Ms. Foote took early retirement from teaching Nursing in order to spend more time promoting natural health. After having worked extensively with the elderly while teaching nursing, and recognizing the need for additional foot care, she became both a Certified Podologist and an Advanced Nursing Foot Care Practitioner. In the fall of 2003, she joined the staff of NASP, becoming the Lead Educator. She continues to maintain a small private foot care practice when not teaching courses for NASP.
Ms. Foote’s background in Nursing Education, along with her knowledge of foot care, bring an added depth to the NASP classes. Ms. Foote’s objective in life is to continue to improve the health of the public in general, and provide quality foot care in particular. Being an Educator for NASP joins her love of teaching with her interest in advancing the quality of foot care to professionals.
